About the role
Technology team at Citigroup builds and modernizes enterprise cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. The Cloud Solutions Engineer designs, implements, and secures scalable microservices, event‑driven systems, APIs, data platforms and AI services, while leading automation and observability initiatives. Chennai, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration as needed.
What you’ll do
- Lead design and implementation of secure, resilient cloud architectures for microservices, event‑driven systems, APIs, data platforms and AI services
- Develop application methodologies, standards, and automation for coding, testing, debugging and deployment
- Provide advanced expertise and guidance to developers, analysts and new team members
- Consult with end users to capture system specifications and integrate them into overall design
- Allocate work, coach teams, and influence senior leaders and external partners
- Assess risk and ensure compliance with policies, regulations and ethical standards
