What you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate risk path services including inventory tracking, hedge decisioning, and smart routing
- Own feature lifecycle from scoping and technical design to delivery, rollout, and operational health
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, Trading, Treasury, and Finance teams
- Implement logging, metrics, alerting, retries, idempotency, and reconciliation mechanisms
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and drive engineering‑excellence initiatives
- Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, and post‑mortem analysis
What you’ll bring
- 4-6 years building production backend systems
- Trading background with experience at exchanges or brokerages
- Strong system design, data modelling, and API design skills
- Proficiency in object‑oriented programming and low‑level design patterns
- Expertise in observability, debugging, performance tuning, and incident response
- Ability to work with financial data and ensure accurate positions, cost basis, and PnL
- Hands‑on problem solving and high agency
- Heavy use of AI coding tools
