Business Analyst, Field Office Inspections
About the role
Ameriprise India LLP's General Counsel's Organization Compliance team is hiring a Business Analyst to support the Field Office Inspections department. The role coordinates exam announcements and scheduling, executes post-inspection processes including issuing reports, conducts RiverSource, Columbia, and Field Non-branch inspections, and partners with leadership to clarify policies and improve processes. Based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, the position is full-time with an in-office expectation of at least three days per week and two days of remote flexibility.
What you’ll do
- Provide support to Field Office Inspection Examiners in coordinating the announcement and scheduling of Branch and OSJ inspections
- Gather data through multiple reports from different tools for business and reporting purposes
- Conduct all communications and books and records tasks following an inspection
- Conduct certain RiverSource, Columbia and Field Non-branch inspections
- Complete required tasks within predefined SLAs while maintaining required quality parameters
- Partner with leadership and other examiners to clarify policies and procedures, escalate issues, and ensure consistency of process
- Engage in day-to-day operations of the Field Office Inspection team and/or department-wide projects and initiatives
- Identify process and procedure improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to implement effective solutions
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to identify risks and formulate potential solutions
- Proven track record of completing tasks accurately with strong attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience in an audit function with familiarity with audit methodologies
- Knowledge of FINRA, SEC and other regulatory rules/requirements
- Knowledge of risks pertinent to industry and firm
- Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
