About the role

Ameriprise India LLP's General Counsel's Organization Compliance team is hiring a Business Analyst to support the Field Office Inspections department. The role coordinates exam announcements and scheduling, executes post-inspection processes including issuing reports, conducts RiverSource, Columbia, and Field Non-branch inspections, and partners with leadership to clarify policies and improve processes. Based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, the position is full-time with an in-office expectation of at least three days per week and two days of remote flexibility.

What you’ll do

  • Provide support to Field Office Inspection Examiners in coordinating the announcement and scheduling of Branch and OSJ inspections
  • Gather data through multiple reports from different tools for business and reporting purposes
  • Conduct all communications and books and records tasks following an inspection
  • Conduct certain RiverSource, Columbia and Field Non-branch inspections
  • Complete required tasks within predefined SLAs while maintaining required quality parameters
  • Partner with leadership and other examiners to clarify policies and procedures, escalate issues, and ensure consistency of process
  • Engage in day-to-day operations of the Field Office Inspection team and/or department-wide projects and initiatives
  • Identify process and procedure improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to implement effective solutions

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to identify risks and formulate potential solutions
  • Proven track record of completing tasks accurately with strong attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience in an audit function with familiarity with audit methodologies
  • Knowledge of FINRA, SEC and other regulatory rules/requirements
  • Knowledge of risks pertinent to industry and firm
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
