About the role
Manufacturing Shop Team at Cummins maintains equipment uptime by troubleshooting, installing, testing and repairing electrical systems on CNC machines. What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per schedules
- Maintain and update breakdown history in maintenance system
- Instruct and coach team members on safety and technical tasks
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and use proper PPE
- Support spare parts management to reduce downtime
- Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities
- Maintain clean and organized work area
What you’ll bring
- 6-9 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic
- Hands‑on experience with CNC machines (FANUC, Siemens, etc.)
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi)
- Familiarity with VFDs, SCADA and electrical logic
- Ability to perform LOTO risk assessments and safety permits
- Experience with robot troubleshooting (KUKA, ABB)
- Understanding of 5S and TPM processes
