Senior Solutions Architect (Cloud + AI)

About the role

Merkle's Senior Solutions Architect (Cloud + AI) in Bengaluru designs and governs solution architectures for internal and external clients, overseeing other architects and delivery through regional frameworks. Day-to-day work includes developing APAC solution architecture standards, documenting workflows and visualizations, embedding global security principles, tracking key design decisions, and running stakeholder workshops and training. The role is hybrid and requires 12-15 years across solution architecture, engineering, and marketing technology.

What you’ll do

• Develop regional solution architecture frameworks with senior stakeholders
• Review global and regional infrastructure availability and product ecosystem to set regional standards aligned with global and industry standards
• Lead system and architecture documentation, workflows, and visualization in standardized documents for technical teams across APAC
• Incorporate global security standards into solution architecture principles within standard infrastructure options
• Record and track key design decisions and validate them against requirements
• Ensure continuous updates, changes, new methods, and technical changes are incorporated and documented
• Communicate with stakeholders across the region and run workshops and training sessions as needed
• Adopt a holistic approach to solution design to maximize best use of available technologies

What you’ll bring

• 12-15 years in solution architecture, engineering, and marketing technology
• Strong, hands-on experience with at least 2 of AZURE, AWS, GCP
• Strong verbal and written communication with experience documenting technical and system workflows, diagrams, and visualization
• Strong and collaborative mindset working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to develop regional solution architecture frameworks with senior stakeholders
• Ability to lead system and architecture documentation and standardized dissemination across APAC
• Ability to incorporate global security standards into solution architecture principles
• Ability to record, track, and validate key design decisions against requirements
