About the role
Paytm's QR & Soundbox team seeks a Team Leader in Chennai to drive merchant adoption of QR and Soundbox products across multiple locations. Day-to-day work includes growing distribution and market share, recruiting and coaching a sales team, planning market coverage for field sales executives, communicating targets, monitoring quality parameters, and conducting audits on acquisitions and sales. The role is full-time and on-site in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
What you’ll do
- Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations
- Ensure extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and sale of the product with visibility and accountability
- Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market
- Plan the market size, span and geographies for field sales executives
- Monitor quality parameters as suggested by management
- Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales done by the team
- Ensure team members are in the market where sales and usage are done regularly
- Apply a growth mindset and quickly learn and apply new ideas and concepts
