About the role
Iris Software seeks a Senior Java Kafka Engineer in Noida, UP, India to design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Day-to-day work includes defining API contracts, building reusable backend components, optimizing performance, owning end-to-end module delivery, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers on coding standards and modern Java practices. The role also involves designing event-driven architectures, improving CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting production issues.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed and enterprise-grade systems.
- Develop reusable backend components and enterprise services following clean architecture and secure coding practices.
- Optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, database tuning, and JVM optimization.
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules including design, development, testing support, and deployment readiness.
- Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Design event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication mechanisms to improve system scalability and resilience.
- Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
