About the role

Quest Global – Piping Engineering Team designs detailed piping systems for power plant and oil & gas projects. The role leads creation and review of P&ID schematics, arrangement drawings, BOMs, and supports selection of piping, tubing, and fittings per ASME/ANSI/API standards, using NX for modeling and routing. Bengaluru office, on-site work model, with coordination across cross‑functional teams and suppliers.

What you’ll do

• Develop detailed piping designs and arrangement drawings
• Prepare Mod Kits, field modification instructions, and engineering change requests
• Select piping, tubing, fittings, and ensure compliance with standards
• Perform structural calculations for piping support systems
• Review and interpret technical proposals and project contracts
• Coordinate with tech leads, chief engineers, and suppliers
• Manage design ownership, cost, feasibility, and fabrication considerations
• Plan tasks, execute, and deliver designs on schedule

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years hands‑on piping detailed design experience
• NX modeling and drafting proficiency
• Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI/API and EN standards
• Experience with accessory/package piping systems in power or oil & gas
• Ability to develop arrangement drawings and BOMs from P&ID
• Conduct piping support and structural calculations
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and suppliers
• Understand GE gas turbine components and design skids
