About the role
U.S. Bancorp India seeks Agilists to embed Agile and Product values across product teams, driving customer-focused discovery, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you will coach agile ways of working, own agile practices and portfolio management, facilitate rituals like sprint planning and retrospectives, and use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Dragonboat, Mural, and KYT metrics to track OKRs and success metrics. You will partner with Product Management, business partners, and risk teams to refine backlogs, define MVP and Definition of Done, and simplify governance and audit aspects of delivery. This full-time role is based in Chennai, India.
What you’ll do
- Drive delivery by enabling the product/team to consistently conduct discovery focused on the customer, experiment and evolve product strategy based on prior outcomes and feedback loops
- Own the agile practices of the team/product group/journey including cross-portfolio impacts, planning, dependency maps, OKRs and key metrics for success in partnership with Product Management, busines
- Champion and coach on agile ways of working and mindset, support product management routines such as QPP, scale the Shield Way of Working Toolkit, and build team expertise through coaching and trainin
- Implement and lead tactics using agile tools for product roadmaps, OKRs, sprint planning, backlog refinement and collaboration (JIRA, Confluence, Dragonboat, Mural, KYT metrics)
- Own agile tactics such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, working agreements, charters, team routines, team rosters, dependency maps in partnership with product management
- Refine Definition of Done, MVP (coaching), Personas, and Story Maps and support refining the backlog as a member of the team
- Own and drive agile portfolio management tasks
- Manage and simplify governance, audit and evidence aspects of delivering product work in support of strategic roadmaps and business objectives in partnership with product management and risk managemen

- Deep understanding of target customer through internal/external research and discovery, including creation of personas, story maps, and product chartering/mapping
- Strong collaboration with product managers and software engineers to execute product vision and roadmap
- Facilitation of cross-functional human-centered design sessions to build empathy for users, create alignment on customer pain-points, and identify continuous improvements for the product roadmap
