Datacenter Network Engineer

About the role

IT Infrastructure Services team at Tata Consultancy Services builds and operates the datacenter networking backbone. The Datacenter Network Engineer designs, builds, and maintains network setups, leads architecture reviews, and delivers high‑level and low‑level designs while ensuring hybrid cloud networking and security across Azure, AWS, and GCP. Works onsite in Chennai, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to document, communicate, and support network solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain datacenter network infrastructure
• Lead architecture reviews and produce HLD/LLD documentation
• Implement hybrid cloud networking and cloud security solutions (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Develop and manage SDN and intent‑based networking solutions
• Provide strong documentation, design, and communication throughout projects

What you’ll bring

• 8-14 years of experience in network engineering
• Proficiency with Cisco network administration
• Experience with IP networking and datacap tools
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking and security
• Familiarity with SDN and intent‑based networking solutions
