About the role
BrowserStack Datacenter Operations team ensures the reliability of its global testing infrastructure. The Datacenter Operations Engineer maintains Linux, macOS and mobile device fleets, manages rack hardware, networking and incident resolution in the Navi Mumbai lab. Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, 5 days onsite, unlimited time off and remote‑first allowances.
What you’ll do
- Deploy, configure and monitor Linux, macOS and mobile endpoints
- Provision, troubleshoot and update mobile devices at scale
- Manage rack infrastructure, cabling, PDUs and Wi‑Fi APs
- Track and resolve Level 2 tickets in Jira adhering to SLAs
- Document SOPs and system guides in Confluence
What you’ll bring
- 2-4 years IT operations or systems administration
- Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL/Debian) and macOS
- Experience managing Android and iOS device fleets
- Solid understanding of IP networking, VLANs and Wi‑Fi
- Hands‑on with Jira and Confluence
