The position is full‑time, on‑site, with a day shift, and offers a performance‑based incentive plan.
What you’ll do
- Reviews documentation by chart daily for Coding Production as assigned by Director of Physician Education
- Provides weekly and monthly feedback to Documentation Specialist on documentation trends
- Performs ongoing analysis of medical record documentation
- Supports Senior Provider Education Specialists for focused areas of documentation needs
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent required
- At least four (4) years of coding experience and two (2) years of auditing experience
- Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or related field or equivalent experience/training preferred
