About the role

Investments Data Office at Invesco focuses on ensuring high‑quality, trusted investment data across the enterprise. The Principal Data Steward drives day‑to‑day stewardship, defines data quality rules, builds dashboards, and partners with data owners, governance, and technology teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Hyderabad, Telangana, India – hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

What you’ll do

• Support day‑to‑day stewardship across master data domains
• Partner with data product owners and governance to define requirements and SLAs
• Define, measure, and monitor data quality metrics and reporting
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, mapping, and root‑cause analysis
• Develop and maintain critical data elements, metadata, and data dictionaries
• Recommend process and technology improvements for efficiency

What you’ll bring

• 5–7 years data stewardship/MDM experience
• Strong SQL and Excel skills
• Experience with Markit EDM/Opus EDM platforms
• Familiarity with Python, Alteryx, VBA, Power BI
• Ability to define data quality metrics and dashboards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
