About the role

Investments Data Office at Invesco ensures critical investment data is trusted and usable across the enterprise. The Principal Data Steward drives data quality, defines metrics, and partners with product owners, governance and technology teams to resolve issues and improve stewardship processes. Based in Hyderabad, Telangana, this role follows a hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote, offering flexible work arrangements and comprehensive benefits.

What you’ll do

• Support day‑to‑day stewardship of master data domains
• Define, measure and monitor data quality metrics and dashboards
• Maintain critical data elements, metadata and data dictionaries
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, root‑cause analysis and remediation
• Collaborate with data architects, technology teams and business stakeholders to define requirements
• Develop reporting and workflow solutions to improve data quality

What you’ll bring

• 5-7 years data stewardship or MDM experience
• Strong SQL and Excel skills
• Experience with Markit EDM/Opus EDM platforms
• Familiarity with Python, Alteryx or Power BI a plus
• Ability to define data quality rules and metrics
• Partner with data product owners and governance teams
