AWS Solutions Architect, Public Sector

About the role

AWS Public Sector team helps enterprise customers adopt cloud solutions that improve agility, security and cost efficiency. The Solutions Architect partners with sales and engineering to design, present and implement AWS architectures, conduct trainings and author best‑practice content. Bengaluru office, on‑site work model, up to 25% travel.

What you’ll do

• Formulate and execute sales strategies to drive AWS adoption
• Design and migrate enterprise applications to AWS
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and conduct deep‑dive architecture sessions
• Deliver one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training workshops
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the architect community
• Author customer‑facing publications such as whitepapers
• Build relationships with senior technical stakeholders to champion cloud adoption
• Act as technical liaison between customers and AWS service teams

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years experience in software/technology sales or consulting
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Node.js, C# or C++
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, storage or databases
• Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems

Nice to have

• Experience designing cloud‑based solutions
• Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Infrastructure or DevOps
