Principal Lead Network Engineer

About the role

Technology Operations at Ameriprise India leads the operational management of critical network and security services. The Principal Lead drives security design, network architecture, incident response, and automation across datacenter environments while mentoring staff. Hybrid role based in Noida and Hyderabad with three days onsite per week.

What you’ll do

• Provide operational leadership for technology operations teams
• Design, architect, and manage security rules and standards in datacenter environments
• Lead execution of security changes and updates per corporate policies
• Monitor security and troubleshoot network issues
• Research and implement innovative security solutions
• Introduce automation for routine administrative tasks
• Serve as escalation resource during major incidents
• Collaborate with IT disciplines and maintain documentation

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• 10-14 years networking experience
• 10-14 years network design and engineering
• Strong analytical and customer service abilities
• Excellent communication across organizational levels
• Thought leadership and innovative problem solving
• Experience coaching and mentoring security staff
