About the role
Amazon Lab126, the team behind Silicon IP AZ1 Neural Edge for Echo devices, builds post‑silicon validation platforms and lab operations. The SoC Validation Associate performs board‑level rework, sets up lab equipment, runs test scripts, supports silicon bring‑up, maintains inventory, documents results and automates tasks with Python/shell. Bengaluru, India, on-site, hybrid schedule possible.
What you’ll do
- Perform board‑level rework and component soldering/desoldering
- Set up and operate lab equipment for silicon validation
- Execute test scripts on emulation and early silicon platforms
- Assist in silicon bring‑up activities like power sequencing and clock measurement
- Build and maintain lab test setups and prototype hardware
- Document test results, procedures and debug findings
- Support automation of repetitive lab tasks
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years hardware development or test lab experience
- Experience with motherboard/PCB design and schematics
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters
- Develop test strategies for complex hardware/software systems
- Automation using Bash/shell scripting and Python/Perl
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
