About the role
Lumilens Manufacturing Operations leads the strategy and execution of capital management, capacity modeling, and logistics for AI photonics production. The Senior Director drives end‑to‑end manufacturing planning, oversees global supply chains, selects and ramps sites, and mentors a high‑performing ops team. Bengaluru, India, on‑site role with global travel to supplier sites.
What you’ll do
- Own manufacturing capital strategy and planning
- Develop capacity models and long‑term roadmaps
- Design scalable logistics and manage global supply chains
- Select, ready, and ramp manufacturing sites
- Lead process improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives
- Collaborate on NPI to transition from prototype to volume production
- Monitor operational metrics such as throughput and yield
- Recruit, lead, and mentor the manufacturing operations team
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years manufacturing ops in high‑tech sectors
- Experience with capital and capacity planning
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Leadership of cross‑functional, multi‑site teams
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or related field
- Background in semiconductors, photonics, or advanced electronics
