About the role
GE Vernova’s Wind Blades Manufacturing team in Vadodara seeks a Senior Director to lead plant operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost excellence across a 500‑2000+ workforce. The role partners with Engineering, EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance to translate strategy into daily execution, manage lean initiatives, and resolve bottlenecks. On‑site in Vadodara with relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Drive plant operations and safety culture
- Oversee production planning, capacity, and shift management
- Translate site strategy into operational plans
- Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage P&L and cost performance
- Serve as acting Plant Leader during absences
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally
- Develop and retain a large workforce
