About the role
Corporate Legal team at Larsen & Toubro oversees M&A, corporate restructuring, insolvency, and governance compliance. The Assistant General Manager leads drafting and negotiation of complex contracts, provides legal advisory across Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, tax and environmental regulations, and mentors junior staff. What you’ll do
- Lead legal due diligence for acquisitions
- Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Manage insolvency and bankruptcy matters
- Provide training and knowledge sharing within legal team
What you’ll bring
- 10-15 years legal experience
- Proficiency in Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, labour and tax law
- Experience with corporate restructuring and M&A transactions
- Drafting and negotiating complex contracts
- Strong stakeholder relationship management

Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent)
