About the role
The Trade & Fx Counsellor serves as the single point of contact for trade and forex products within Retail Banking's Branch Banking division in Mumbai. This role drives product initiatives, manages client relationships, and supports branch teams to achieve revenue targets and portfolio quality metrics. The position requires extensive experience in branch banking to act as a subject matter expert and ensure customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Act as single point of contact for trade and forex products
- Drive product and marketing initiatives launched by central team
- Service trade-related queries and requirements for clients
- Manage portfolio quality including digital activation and AMB balance
- Support customer acquisition plans through joint calls with sales teams
- Train sales and relationship teams as a subject matter expert
- Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers
- Evaluate growth strategies based on competitor analysis
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years of relevant branch banking experience
- Graduate degree required
- Post Graduate in Finance (MBA preferred)
