Data Platform Architect

About the role

AI Infrastructure Architecture team at Accenture designs and builds Snowflake-based AI/ML platforms for secure data access, feature preparation, and model enablement. The Data Platform Architect writes and debugs SQL, Python, and IaC scripts, configures Snowflake warehouses, and supports CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of AI solutions. Works in Pune, India on-site, collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and platform engineers to ensure reliability, security, and cost‑efficiency of AI workloads.

What you’ll do

• Write, review and debug SQL, Python, and infrastructure‑as‑code for Snowflake AI/ML infrastructure
• Configure and manage Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, and secure access patterns
• Support deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Terraform, dbt, and containers
• Deploy and operate data/feature pipelines and AI application integrations
• Monitor warehouse utilization, query performance, and pipeline health
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and platform engineers to integrate solutions
• Document reusable patterns, configuration standards, and runbooks

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data platform or AI/ML infrastructure roles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• At least 2 years of experience coding, building, or troubleshooting AI/ML infrastructure
• Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, containers, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Snowflake warehouses, Snowpark, and cloud storage integrations
• Understanding of MLOps concepts and model deployment pipelines
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
