About the role

Data Platform team at Accenture designs and builds enterprise‑scale lakehouse solutions on Databricks, enabling secure, governed data products across the organization. The Data Platform Architect leads architecture and hands‑on implementation of pipelines, Unity Catalog governance, and integration with BI tools, while mentoring engineers and driving cross‑functional initiatives. Bengaluru, India and multiple Indian locations, hybrid model with on‑site collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

• Define and evolve the enterprise data platform blueprint
• Provide hands‑on architectural guidance and code reviews
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across datasets
• Mentor and develop engineering talent within the platform team
• Collaborate with integration architects to align system and data models

What you’ll bring

• 12 years experience
• Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
• Python programming
• PySpark ETL development
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
• Unity Catalog governance implementation
• Data Mesh and Lakehouse architecture knowledge

Nice to have

• Design and build complex pipelines using Delta Lake, Auto Loader, DLT
• Architect data ingestion and transformation pipelines
• Implement role‑based access policies and data classification in Unity Catalog
• Integrate Power BI, Tableau, Looker with Databricks for live reporting
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives with data science and analytics teams
