About the role

Data & AI Solutions Presales Technology Team at EXL builds scalable, event-driven, AI/ML-ready platforms for client demos and proofs of concept. The Solution Architect designs and implements distributed, cloud-native architectures, integrates multi‑model AI orchestration, and ensures observability, security, and compliance across industries. Works hybrid from India, collaborating with sales, engineering, and data science teams to deliver technical narratives and reusable demo environments.

What you’ll do

• Partner with sales to design client‑ready demos and proof‑of‑concepts
• Present complex architectures to executive and technical stakeholders
• Architect distributed, scalable data and AI platforms for presales
• Implement event‑driven systems using Kafka, Pulsar, SQS, etc.
• Define observability standards and enforce security/compliance policies
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams
• Mentor junior architects and presales engineers
• Drive technical due diligence, PoCs, and vendor evaluations

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years experience in solution architecture or presales engineering
• Hands‑on expertise with at least two hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Proven AI/ML system integration and multi‑model orchestration
• Strong knowledge of event‑driven architectures and messaging frameworks
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Security and compliance implementation (zero‑trust, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Excellent client engagement and presentation skills
• Advanced programming in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go
