About the role

TransUnion Applications Development team builds innovative web solutions for client needs. The Senior Web Developer leads design and implementation, troubleshoots and maintains applications, and provides technical guidance and client support. Pune, hybrid (minimum two days onsite).

What you’ll do

  • Guide team members through design and implementation
  • Solve client problems and interpret requirements
  • Test and maintain existing software applications
  • Provide technical assistance and product education to clients
  • Liaise with other technical experts
  • Contribute in all phases of development lifecycle
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Develop proof-of-concept projects for client needs

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years PHP development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Expert knowledge of OOP
  • Expert knowledge of MySQL
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with Git or Subversion
  • Linux command line and server management
  • Agile/Scrum experience
