About the role
Senior Systems and Silicon Validation/Characterization Engineer at Omnidesigntech responsible for validating and qualifying silicon ICs for consumer electronics. Leads validation efforts, creates and edits test plans, collaborates with design teams, develops test scripts in Python and LabView, maintains measurement automation platforms, and ensures product qualification for mass production. Experienced with high-speed protocols such as USB3.0, PCIe, DisplayPort, HDMI, SATA/SAS, MIPI, GMSL, Ethernet, LPDDR4/5. Strong debugging, scripting, and test equipment knowledge. Works in a hybrid environment across Hyderabad and Bangalore.
What you’ll do
- Lead silicon validation efforts, create/edit test plans
- Collaborate with design team for new product validation and characterization
- Create and maintain measurement automation platforms
- Develop test scripts controlling test equipment
- Review and create schematics/layout of test platforms
- Execute qualification of products for mass production
- Document test and characterization reports
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of product validation and characterization experience
- Experience with high-speed protocols: USB3.0, PCIe, DisplayPort, HDMI, SATA/SAS, MIPI, GMSL, Ethernet, LPDDR4/5
