About the role
Data Engineering team builds scalable cloud data platforms enabling data-driven decisions. Senior AWS Data Engineer designs, develops and optimizes data pipelines, advanced SQL queries and data warehouse solutions on AWS, collaborating with cross‑functional Agile teams. Remote work from India, full‑time, remote model.
What you’ll do
- Design and build scalable data platforms on AWS
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries for analytical workloads
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering code
- Monitor production pipelines, troubleshoot issues and improve performance
- Collaborate with Agile cross‑functional teams to deliver data solutions
- Apply data warehouse modeling (star, snowflake) and dimensional design
- Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to enhance productivity
What you’ll bring
- 6-12 years data engineering experience
- Strong hands‑on Amazon Redshift
- Advanced SQL query development and optimization
- Python programming for data pipelines
- Git‑based CI/CD workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Mage)
- Familiarity with dbt and modern analytics engineering
- AWS services (S3, RDS PostgreSQL, IAM)
