About the role
Senior CISO leading security for an NBFC preparing for IPO. Architect of security posture, ensuring RBI compliance and bridging technical defense with enterprise risk. Drives a 3‑year roadmap, leads board liaison, oversees cloud, DevSecOps, CSOC, VAPT, and red‑team exercises. Manages RBI and SEBI compliance, third‑party risk, and data privacy. Strong leadership, strategic influence, and crisis management skills with proven track record in financial services and large‑scale security transformations.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute 3‑year security roadmap for IPO.
- Lead Information Security Committee and board updates.
- Design secure technology landscape (cloud, web, mobile, APIs).
- Drive DevSecOps and secure by design practices.
- Oversee CSOC, SIEM, VAPT, Red Teaming.
- Ensure RBI and SEBI compliance, third‑party risk management.
- Implement data protection strategies per DPDP Act and ISO 27001.
What you’ll bring
- 15+ years in Information Security, preferably in Financial Services.
- Deep knowledge of RBI Master Directions and SEBI CSCRF compliance.
- Experience leading security architecture for IPO‑ready NBFC.
Nice to have
- CISSP or CISM certification.
- CISA, CCISO, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
- Experience with RBI, SEBI, DPDP Act compliance.
