About the role
The Finance Operations team seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to lead global collections and cash forecasting in Bengaluru. This remote role involves managing customer escalations, overseeing AR operations, and driving process improvements using NetSuite. The position requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end global collections efforts targeting less than 10% past-due AR
- Resolve high-value customer escalations and disputes through proactive communication
- Drive the 13-week rolling cash inflow forecast in collaboration with Treasury
- Oversee AR shared inbox workflow and ensure timely response to queries
- Monitor Dunning module and review AR Aging for balance integrity
- Lead creation of credit memos and coordinate approvals with relevant departments
- Assign collections tasks in NetSuite and oversee junior AR specialists
- Identify and recommend improvements in AR processes and system workflows
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Global collections experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite
- Proficiency in Dunning tools and forecasting processes
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and trend analysis
