About the role
Mahindra Auto Division engineering team drives vehicle and component development across Special Vehicle Programs, New Utility Platforms, and Accessories. The Engineering Lead provides technical leadership, overseeing engineering strategy, validation, homologation, and cross‑functional team execution. Based in Mumbai, on-site work model, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, high‑quality automotive products.
What you’ll do
- Lead vehicle and component engineering activities across programs
- Own engineering sign‑off and technical governance throughout development
- Drive design verification and validation strategies
- Mentor CAE, Electrical, Structural, Testing, and Validation teams
- Facilitate engineering feasibility reviews with design and product development
What you’ll bring
- 8-10 years automotive engineering experience
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Automobile, or Electrical Engineering
- Leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams
Nice to have
- Proven expertise in CAE methodologies
- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, and validation processes
- Experience with homologation and regulatory compliance
