Project Senior Lead, Senior Vice President

About the role

Wealth Lending Project Management team at Citigroup drives end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional initiatives across lending, technology, risk and compliance. The Project Senior Lead (SVP) leads multiple project teams, defines scope, plans milestones, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures alignment with business priorities and regulatory expectations. Based in Gurugram, India, hybrid work model with on‑site presence as needed.

What you’ll do

• Lead end‑to‑end project execution including scope definition, planning and delivery
• Manage cross‑functional initiatives across Wealth Lending, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies
• Communicate progress, risks and decisions to senior stakeholders and steering committees
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory and control requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in project governance and delivery efficiency
• Coach and develop project team members

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years experience in project or program management, business transformation or related disciplines
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives in financial services or regulated environments
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to define, prioritize and govern AI initiatives
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior leadership
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and risk management capabilities

Nice to have

PMP, CAPM or equivalent certification
