Senior SEO Manager & Account Manager

About the role

A partner company seeks a Senior SEO Manager & Account Manager to lead end-to-end SEO campaigns for a diverse client portfolio. This fully remote role combines technical and content SEO expertise with strategic account management to drive organic visibility and commercial traffic. The position is based in India.

What you’ll do

• Manage a portfolio of SEO client accounts, setting expectations and ensuring campaign results.
• Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies from keyword identification to content planning.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for new landing pages and articles.
• Analyze client and competitor websites to identify on-page opportunities and content gaps.
• Create and optimize high-quality, search-engine-focused content aligned with user intent.
• Implement off-page SEO activities including outreach and quality backlink acquisition.
• Monitor SEO performance using analytics platforms and adjust strategies to improve outcomes.
• Provide regular reporting and educate clients on SEO best practices and emerging trends.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional SEO experience across on-page, content, technical, and off-page domains.
• At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience in agency or account management environments.
• Proven ability to develop and execute complete SEO strategies combining keyword research and link building.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking principles, and E-E-A-T for YMYL sites.
• Solid technical SEO knowledge including site performance, Core Web Vitals, and crawlability.
• Experience with industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
