About the role
Supplier Quality Engineering team at Celeros Flow Technology ensures supplier components meet stringent quality, delivery, cost, and compliance standards. The role monitors supplier performance, leads audits, drives corrective actions, and collaborates on new product development across India. Based in Bangalore with on-site work, the engineer partners with global experts and plant teams to improve processes and maintain strong supplier relationships.
What you’ll do
- Monitor supplier performance and initiate improvements
- Conduct supplier audits and manage corrective actions
- Lead new product development activities with suppliers
- Align supplier inspection practices to ensure First Time Through
- Collaborate with global experts on casting, machining, welding
- Support new supplier identification and capability assessment
- Train suppliers on quality, HSE, and performance standards
- Drive improvement projects for lead time, cost, and defect reduction
What you’ll bring
- 8-10 years manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification
- ASNT Level II certification (MT, PT, RT, UT)
- Knowledge of pumps and valves
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience with 3D models (preferred)
