About the role

Lead the procurement and contracting functions for Essar's coal‑bed methane projects. Oversee tender preparation, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration across exploration, production, and distribution activities. Coordinate technical and commercial bid reviews, manage the full contract lifecycle for drilling, workover, cementing, logging, and procurement, and liaise with government authorities for essentiality certificates and explosive licenses. Develop ITB documents, comparative statements, and negotiate commercial terms to secure favorable pricing and conditions. Generate purchase orders and work orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Drive strategic contracting and risk management tailored to CBM projects, applying effective negotiation techniques. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align procurement strategies with project objectives and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

• Prepare tenders and contracts for CBM exploration, production, and distribution.
• Conduct pre‑qualification, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations, drafting, and contract close‑out.
• Facilitate Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluations with user departments.
• Manage contract lifecycle for drilling, workover, cementing, logging, and procurement.
• Liaise with government authorities for essentiality certificates and explosive licenses.
• Develop ITB documents and prepare comparative statements for suppliers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and generate purchase orders and work orders.
