About the role
Applied Materials’ Employee Services team in Bangalore, India seeks an HR Case Management professional to deliver transactional HR support to global and regional internal customers. Day-to-day, you will respond to inquiries on HR processes, Workday, policies, benefits, payroll, learning platforms, stocks, and immigration cases; consult with supervisors on complex or confidential issues; maintain process documentation; and drive process improvements while meeting SLAs. The role is full-time on an India day shift (8:00 am–5:00 pm) and requires up to 10% travel with relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Assist with inquiries and information requests from internal customers on year-round HR processes, Workday HR system, HR policies, benefits, payroll, learning platforms, stocks, and immigration cases
- Consult with the team and supervisor when dealing with complex inquiries, issues, or requests, and escalate as necessary in a confidential, responsive, customer-focused manner
- Follow standard procedures and apply discretion based on common sense and experience to complete a wide range of tasks
- Actively participate in creating and maintaining process documents and identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain team professionalism in confidentiality, integrity, and company data protection
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and service-level agreements (SLAs) while driving process improvements and delivering a positive employee experience
- Manage multiple competing demands and deadlines while delivering accurate and consistent work within a high-volume environment
- Communicate effectively to internal customers with a professional ‘can do’ approach, ensuring service delivery and advice reflects current and best business practice
What you’ll bring

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in technical tools such as Workday and ServiceNow
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple competing demands and deadlines in a high-volume environment
