ServiceNow Senior Developer

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer to lead integration of Identity and Access Management solutions with the ServiceNow platform. The role requires deep knowledge of IAM principles, ServiceNow workflows, and integration patterns to ensure secure automation of identity-related processes across the enterprise. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations, designing solutions with IDAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, configuring Integration Hub, REST APIs, MID Servers, writing scalable code, maintaining documentation, creating proof‑of‑concepts, and ensuring stability, scalability, and security. The candidate must have 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP, REST APIs, IAM platforms, JavaScript, CMDB, UI, SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, ITIL, and be a ServiceNow Certified Consultant. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Hyderabad, India, with hybrid working options and comprehensive benefits.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow application & integrations
• Work closely with business analysts, developers & stakeholders to design and implement solutions
• Design, develop, and implement integrations between IDAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD) and ServiceNow
• Configure ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST APIs, and MID Servers to facilitate secure data exchange
• Write efficient and high-quality code that is scalable and maintainable
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations
• Create go-to-market proof-of-concept applications on the ServiceNow platform
• Create unique service portal pages and widgets
• Ensure that ServiceNow applications are stable, scalable & secure
• Troubleshoot & debug issues in ServiceNow applications and integrations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow technologies and trends
• Oversee development of the ServiceNow solution in accordance with industry best practices to ensure system compliance
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years experience as a ServiceNow Developer, especially in identity governance workflows.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP, and REST APIs.
• Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, Azure AD, or Ping Identity.
• Extensive JavaScript knowledge.
• ServiceNow Certified Consultant (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM).
