About the role
Join the Balance Sheet Substantiation team within Risk and Finance Data Control at a large multinational financial services organization in Gurugram. As a Financial Control Manager at director level, you will lead performance and oversee day-to-day delivery of monthly and quarterly balance sheet information to Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders. You will establish robust control and governance frameworks, drive continuous improvement using AI-enabled tools, and leverage Oracle and AWS to support reporting, analysis, and control activities.
What you’ll do
- Lead performance and oversee day-to-day delivery activities within the Balance Sheet Substantiation team
- Promote a strong culture of data quality, control, and accountability while ensuring key performance measures are achieved
- Establish and maintain robust control and governance frameworks aligned to wider strategy, operating model, and process architecture
- Work closely with Product Control and Finance teams to ensure the balance sheet is accurately substantiated, understood, and managed
- Support strategic initiatives and collaborate with onshore teams to deliver key business outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies including AI to enhance reporting and anomaly detection
- Use analytical techniques and AI-enabled tools to strengthen balance sheet oversight and identify anomalies
- Leverage Oracle and AWS to support reporting, analysis, and control activities
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience gained within a large multinational financial services environment
- Proven leadership capability with experience motivating, developing, and directing teams
- Experience implementing business process and procedural change within a complex organisation
- Ability to implement operating model and strategic change initiatives
- Proven ability to drive positive culture, influence outcomes, and identify effective solutions to achieve team objectives
- Experience working closely with Finance and wider business stakeholders
- Experience overseeing accurate and timely delivery of monthly and quarterly balance sheet information
- Experience establishing and maintaining robust control and governance frameworks
