About the role
WPP Enterprise Solutions (MAP | WPP) designs, builds, and operates growth systems for competitive businesses, leading clients in business transformation and marketing modernization. As an AEM UI EDS Consultant in New Delhi, India, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions, focusing on front-end development, responsive and mobile-first design, and content authoring usability within CMS environments. You will work within a global operating unit across 40+ markets alongside partners such as Adobe, AWS, and Google.
What you’ll do
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Apply expertise in responsive design and mobile first application design
- Use design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma for design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries
- Develop front-end solutions especially using JAM stack with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and apply information architecture for content structuring
- Ensure web accessibility per WCAG guidelines
- Use modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM
- Benchmark and optimize performance using browser dev tools and core web vitals
What you’ll bring
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with any known CMS with functional knowledge of template editor and content author roles
- Understanding of content authoring and ensuring usability and intuitiveness for a content author while using a CMS
- Expertise in responsive design and mobile first application design
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Detailed knowledge of JavaScript (ES6)
- Deep understanding of core web vitals, web performance optimization techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Nice to have
- Knowledge of BEM methodology is preferred
- Experience with Atomic design paradigm is a plus
- Familiarity with Micro Front End concepts and Headless Implementation would be a plus
