AEM UI EDS Consultant

About the role

VML Enterprise Solutions, part of WPP, is hiring a UI EDS Consultant in Noida, India to deliver outstanding digital experiences across marketplaces, D2C, B2B, and social platforms. Day-to-day, you will translate business requirements into technical requirements, build responsive and mobile-first front-end experiences using JAM stack, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and ensure content authoring usability within CMS platforms. The role is hybrid, with teams in the office an average of four days a week.

What you’ll do

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Ensure usability and intuitiveness for content authors while using a CMS
• Apply responsive design and mobile first application design
• Use design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma
• Build and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries
• Develop front-end solutions using JAM stack, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and information architecture
• Optimize web performance using core web vitals and browser dev tools

What you’ll bring

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with any known CMS with functional knowledge of template editor and content author roles
• Understanding of content authoring and ensuring usability and intuitiveness for a content author while using a CMS
• Expertise in responsive design and mobile first application design
• Familiarity in Adobe XD, or other design tools such as Sketch or Figma
• Expertise in Design systems, Style guides, Pattern libraries
• Expertise in front-end development, especially JAM stack
• In depth knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, knowledge of BEM methodology is preferred

Nice to have

• Knowledge of BEM methodology is preferred
• Experience with Atomic design paradigm is a plus
• Familiarity with Micro Front End concepts and Headless Implementation would be a plus
