Senior Architect, Solutions
About the role
Arise Virtual Solutions connects enterprises with a global network of entrepreneurial service partners. As Senior Architect, Solutions, you will own the architecture of the agent and client global websites and mobile apps, leading modernization of legacy portals into cloud-native solutions on AWS. The role is hands-on: roughly 60% architecture and solutioning, 20% .NET development sprint work, and 20% production support, with on-call duties. You will be based in India and work a 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM US Eastern schedule.
What you’ll do
- Own architecture across web, mobile, and integration platforms — web and mobile are designed in sync, so you will architect both even though you will code only in .NET
- Lead the modernization of legacy portals into scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Architect and develop enterprise portals using ASP.NET MVC and React
- Define architecture standards, coding practices, and governance; lead design and code reviews
- Design REST-based services, API governance, and integrations with enterprise platforms
- Mentor .NET engineers and build skill and growth plans for the team
- Look for ways to make development more efficient, including with AI tooling — we already use it and want to go further
- Provide on-call support for production issues, analyzing issues and coding fixes when that is the fastest path
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership
- Deep C# and .NET expertise — .NET Framework and .NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs
- Track record modernizing legacy .NET applications at scale
- Microservices, event-driven design, REST APIs, and API gateway patterns
- AWS cloud architecture; SQL Server and Entity Framework; OAuth2, JWT, and SSO
- React and TypeScript
- Experience architecting both web and mobile applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
