About the role

Mainframe as a Service team at Ensono focuses on modernizing and sustaining mainframe, AIX, and AS400 platforms for enterprise clients. The Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer drives release, test, and change management across these environments, builds packaging pipelines, and ensures compliance and observability of production systems. Hyderabad, India, on-site role with a 1:30 PM‑10:30 PM shift.

What you’ll do

• Globally run zOS, AIX and AS400 platform release and test management
• Plan and coordinate software change requests, roadmaps and timelines
• Maintain packaging environment and software inventory
• Execute test planning, coordination and reporting with engineering teams
• Coordinate deployment of fixes and single distributions
• Ensure compliance and auditability of software components
• Continuously improve release and test processes
• Monitor production health, resolve incidents and remediate root causes

• 10+ years IT services experience
• IT basic knowledge
• ITIL Release/Test/Change Management knowledge
• Change management knowledge
• Test management knowledge
• Familiarity with IBM zOS, AIX, AS400 (preferred)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Shift timing 1:30 PM‑10:30 PM
