About the role

HSBC’s Enterprise Architecture team in Pune seeks a Senior Associate Director to define and deliver architectural roadmaps for UK Common Services, focusing on Service Enablement and Customer Communications. What you’ll do

• Define and deliver architectural roadmaps for UK Common Services, focusing on Service Enablement and Customer Comms.
• Engage key stakeholders to shape strategic investment decisions and drive desired technology outcomes.
• Promote adoption of CTO strategic platforms for new application hosting and AI enablement.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align architecture with value-stream goals.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through coding, design reviews, and assurance of critical solution implementations.
• Assess emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
• Act as the technical point of contact, communicating architectural decisions and trade-offs across agile teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal instructions and external regulations, managing operational risk and ethical standards.
