Lead Data Analyst, Enterprise Data & Analytics, US Reg Reporting Remediation

About the role

Enterprise Data & Analytics team shapes the future of data culture by building infrastructure, reporting frameworks, and remediation for regulatory reporting. The Lead Data Analyst gathers requirements, drives data quality, governance, and remediation initiatives, and collaborates with Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Technology, and Architecture in an Agile pod. Bangalore, hybrid (3 days onsite).

What you’ll do

• Gather and prioritize regulatory reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for data engineers
• Support data quality rule implementation and governance controls
• Create documentation, source‑to‑target mappings, and metadata in Collibra
• Conduct testing, validation, and acceptance criteria definition
• Analyze data gaps, perform root cause analysis, and propose remediation
• Collaborate on strategic data migration to modern platforms
• Communicate regulatory responses and edit check resolutions

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years data management, quality, remediation experience
• Banking or financial services regulatory reporting background
• SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Netezza proficiency
• ETL and data virtualization tools
• Collibra or similar data governance tool
• Python and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau)
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Data, Finance, CS
• Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure)

Nice to have

• Strong stakeholder engagement across Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance, Architecture
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and lead remediation initiatives
• Agile pod collaboration and ceremony participation
