About the role
Independent Assessment and Modernization team within the IRRA Program Office at U.S. Bancorp India provides independent risk review and data procurement for the bank's risk management framework. The Lead Data Analyst designs, writes, and oversees complex data queries, leads data procurement efforts, and mentors analysts to ensure high‑quality, timely analytical outputs. What you’ll do
- Lead end‑to‑end data procurement for IRRA reviews, including source identification and query development
- Design and execute advanced analytical approaches to support review conclusions
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on enterprise data sources and limitations
- Partner with Review Enablement to align data outputs with testing methodologies
- Create reusable datasets, templates, and analytics assets
- Coach and provide feedback to Data Analysts on standards and best practices
- Identify data risks and dependencies across evolving data ecosystems
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing based on risk priorities
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years data analytics or risk management experience
- Proficiency with SQL, SAS, or Python
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and cloud environments
