About the role
Auditing Team at EXL ensures accurate outpatient surgery coding and compliance. The Senior Executive Coding Auditor reviews audits, follows SOPs, updates logs, and escalates issues while maintaining HIPAA and OIG standards. Role is based in Chennai, hybrid work model with on‑site and remote days, 40‑hour week, 08:00‑17:00 IST shift.
What you’ll do
- Follow SOP without fail
- Complete audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update daily logs (productivity, clarification, etc.)
- Respond promptly to manager emails
- Ensure team compliance with HIPAA and OIG
What you’ll bring
- Life science/Paramedical Degree
- CPC/CPMA certification
- 3+ years multi‑specialty surgery coding experience after certification
- Computer skill sets
- Strong written and oral communication
- 40 hours per week full‑time
- Shift 08:00‑17:00 IST
- High speed internet at home
