About the role

Senior Technical Leader – Android Bluetooth at Aptiv leads development of Bluetooth middleware for automotive infotainment. Drives requirement analysis, design, and implementation on Linux/QNX/Android platforms. Manages Bluetooth profiles (HFP, PBAP, A2DP, MAP, SPP) and integrates open‑source stacks. Coordinates with software and system teams, performs peer review, unit and functional testing, and resolves customer issues on target boards. Supports estimation and planning with Product Owner/Platform Manager in an agile environment. Requires 8‑13 years Android experience, proficiency in C/C++, embedded systems, and automotive domain. Familiar with DOORS, Polarion, EA, CM Synergy, Plastic SCM, GIT, Eclipse IDE, unit testing frameworks, UML, and CANoe. What you’ll bring

• 8-13 years Android development experience
• Proficient in C and C++ on Linux/QNX/Android
• 2+ years Embedded systems and Automotive domain
• Hands-on Bluetooth application development (HFP, PBAP, A2DP, MAP, SPP)
• Experience with Bluetooth protocol analyzers (Frontline)
• Bluetooth open-source stack integration experience
• Version control with GIT, Plastic SCM, CM Synergy
• Eclipse IDE and VM development environment
• Unit testing with CPP Test Framework, GTest/GMock
• UML state and sequence diagram knowledge
• Automotive Embedded Development tools (CANoe)

Nice to have

• Experience with Requirements Management, Design, and Configuration tools (DOORS, Polarion, EA, CM Synergy, Plastic SCM, GIT)
