About the role

The Senior Silicon Validation Engineer creates and runs post‑silicon validation tests, drives debugging of cross‑functional issues, and operates hardware emulation platforms to ensure functional coverage and reliable bring‑up. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute post‑silicon validation tests and on‑hardware emulator tests
- Drive debugging and root‑cause analysis for complex cross‑functional issues
- Ensure validation provides necessary functional coverage for design confidence
- Operate and maintain hardware emulation platform for pre‑silicon integration
- Assist in silicon bring‑up processes from prototyping through production
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve validation workflows
- Contribute to AI and Infrastructure team objectives for high‑performance hardware
- Mentor junior team members
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years functional silicon validation testing using C/C++ or Python
- Experience with silicon bring‑up, functional validation, and qualification
- Proficiency with board schematics, layout, and debug using lab equipment
- Experience with Python scripting for automation (preferred)
- Experience with hardware emulation and software‑based test development (preferred)
- Knowledge of power characterization, PCIe, DDR (preferred)
- Understanding of SoC architecture and boot flows (preferred)
