About the role

Group Commercial Legal team at FNZ focuses on managing global client and supplier contracts. The Senior Legal Counsel negotiates, drafts and analyses contracts, provides legal support, monitors regulatory changes and produces internal reporting while collaborating across business units. Gurugram, India, on-site.

What you’ll do

• Negotiate and draft client and supplier contracts
• Provide general legal support to business units
• Analyze contracts and produce management information reports
• Monitor legal developments and assess impact on FNZ
• Maintain contracts register and oversee contract management
• Support strategic projects with legal expertise
• Produce internal MI for business tracking
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve commercial outcomes

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience as a commercial solicitor
• Strong contract negotiation, drafting and analysis skills
• Fintech or financial services sector experience (desired)
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry changes
• Excellent attention to detail and methodological work style
• Strong verbal and written communication influencing stakeholders
• Ability to work autonomously in fast‑paced environment
• Understanding of platform market (desired)
