About the role
Linxens, a global leader in micro-connectors and secure ID solutions, seeks an EHS Senior Engineer to drive safety and environmental compliance at its Mumbai site. The role involves implementing EHS initiatives, managing ISO standards, conducting risk assessments, and training staff to ensure regulatory adherence. This full-time position is based in Mumbai with on-site work requirements.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and implement safety & environment initiatives at the site
- Implement policies and guidelines to ensure business stability and legal compliance
- Develop roadmaps for safety improvements in areas like lockout/tagout and chemical safety
- Manage implementation and documentation of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards
- Conduct regular facilities inspections and mock drills for fire and safety equipment
- Prepare reports, safety matrices, and dashboards on accident types
- Conduct EHS-related training for teams and vendors
- Manage physical safety and security of the workplace
What you’ll bring
- 3-5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing industry
- Masters / Bachelor degree in Environment, Health, & Safety
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) preferable
- Hands-on experience dealing with external agencies like MPCB and Govt Stakeholders
- Fluent in English
