Data Governance Quality Analyst

About the role

Analytics Information Management (AIM) team at Citi drives data‑driven transformation across the enterprise, focusing on data governance, metadata management and data quality. The Data Governance Quality Analyst profiles large datasets, creates and implements data quality rules, monitors pipelines and builds AI‑powered solutions to automate quality checks. Based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

• Profile large datasets to identify anomalies and assess data quality
• Author and implement data quality rules using SQL or Python
• Monitor data pipelines and set up automated alerts for quality breaches
• Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and scorecards for leadership
• Collaborate with data stewards, IT and developers to remediate issues
• Design AI‑powered solutions across the data quality lifecycle
• Document validation logic and exception handling procedures
• Contribute to process improvement and organizational initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 2-5 years hands‑on data quality and data management experience
• 1+ year banking industry experience
• Proficient in Python, SQL, SAS, Teradata, Collibra
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM‑based applications
• Exposure to LangChain or LangGraph frameworks
• Knowledge of data lineage, metadata and data cataloging
• Understanding of banking domain and audit frameworks
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
